CMR Insurance ensures goods carriers are compliant with the CMR Convention – ‘Convention on the Contract for the International Carriage of Goods by Road’, in full – an EU law which requires goods carriers to produce a CMR consignment at customs and when unloading.

The Tir Convention has been signed in 68 countries all over the world. Of these, 58 countries are using the convention, one signatory country (green), three nations are negotiating, and six countries have expressed an interest in joining the convention.
